Meet Jack!
(Occupational Therapist & Founder of Jack Nassios Occupational Therapy)
I’m a Melbourne-based paediatric Occupational Therapist working with children with autism, ADHD, sensory differences, developmental delays and emotional regulation challenges.
I’ve worked across home, school and clinic settings, and I try to make therapy practical, enjoyable and suited to each child. Sessions are usually play-based and built around the child’s interests, strengths and individual needs.
I support children with areas such as emotional regulation, fine motor skills, confidence, independence and executive functioning. For me, building a good connection with the child comes first. Once they feel comfortable and understood, it becomes much easier to work on their goals.
The best part of the job is seeing the small wins that make a big difference, whether that is tying shoelaces, joining a group activity, trying something new or learning how to calm down when things feel overwhelming.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me:
🏀 Playing basketball or watching sport
🎧 Listening to music and making playlists
🏃♂️ Exercising or spending time outdoors
👨👩👧 Catching up with family and friends
My goal is to create a space where children feel comfortable, supported and able to be themselves.
Feel free to reach out if you would like to have a chat about how I may be able to support your child.
